David C. Hecht, CPA/ABV/CFF, MBA
A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (BBA), David Hecht has been licensed to practice public accounting in Texas since 1982. He earned the coveted Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation from the AICPA in 1998, and received his Masters degree (MBA) from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in December 2003. David was recognized as a "University Scholar" by UTA and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society. In 2008, David earned a Certificate in Financial Forensics (CFF) from the AICPA.
David's experience encompasses financial reporting and taxation, litigation consulting & support and financial planning for individuals and businesses. He has performed extensive work in the area of business valuations for marital dissolution, corporate status and alter ego matters, breach of contract, estate and gift tax considerations and buy-sell agreements.
David has been an active member of many professional and cultural organizations. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of CPA's. He has been actively involved in the Fort Worth Chapter and Texas Society of CPA's as an instructor for valuation engagements and is a former chairman of the Management Advisory Services Committee on Continuing Professional Education.

Lynn A. Sudbury, CPA/CITP/CGMA, MBA - Tax Manager
Lynn Sudbury is dedicated to lifelong learning and daily progress. A native of Amarillo, Texas, she graduated from Amarillo High School in 1973 and attended six Texas universities over 17 years before graduating in 1993 from LeTourneau University with a Bachelor of Science - Business Management degree. She continued her education at University of Texas - Arlington, and passed the CPA exam in May, 1998. In 2003, she received her Masters of Business Administration degree (MBA) with an emphasis in Information Technology from the University of Dallas. In 2011, she earned the Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP); and in 2012, the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designations from the AICPA.
Lynn has extensive experience in banking, software development, retail, insurance, telecommunications, public accounting and tax. In her banking career, she monitored the bank's affiliate accounts - reconciling 47 upstream and downstream bank accounts daily, and Fed Funds position - buying or selling excess funds at the end of each day. She subsequently setup and ran the wire transfer department, moving on two years later to supervise the Credit, Collateral, Installment and Commercial Loan departments in a $100 million bank.
In 1987, she became President/CEO of an innovative educational software developer, raising capital for development projects from domestic and international sources. While in school, Lynn became Controller for a Fort Worth convenience store chain, computerizing their store reporting and supervising their wholesale fuel distribution. While completing her Accounting coursework for the CPA exam, she worked as Controller for an insurance agency and third-party benefits administration company. In the late 90's, she was Legal Administrator for a Fort Worth intellectual property lawfirm. After passing the CPA exam, she went to work as Controller for GTE Southwest and Arkansas, eventually becoming the SAP subject matter expert for her team and Consolidations Specialist with Verizon Communications. In 2003, she left Verizon to start her own public accounting, tax and small business consulting firm. Six years ago, she joined her practice to Hecht & Associates, PC.
Lynn is active on the Boards of several non-profits and is passionate about fundraising and volunteer work. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She loves helping small businesses streamline their accounting and business processes.
